Common Questions
What's included with the registered address?
We can receive any official correspondence from either HMRC or Companies House on your behalf. Any important letters will be sent to you by email. You can also use the address service to protect your privacy on Companies House (public register).
How can I setup payment?
The easiest payment method is by Direct Debit, which we'll help you set up once you join. Monthly standing orders are another client favourite.
Can you create a company for me?
We would love to help you create your new company! We'll collect all the required info from you in the next steps. We charge nothing for the formation work — you pay only the £100 Companies House fee.
Can I bring my existing company?
Absolutely, we'll handle your data transfer to FreeAgent at no extra cost.
What if I switch from another accountant?
Switching is easy. Give us your current accountant's details and we'll contact them to initiate the transfer and handle it for you.
Do you charge a setup fee?
We do not currently charge a setup fee.
I don't know how to use FreeAgent software
We'll start you off on FreeAgent with plenty of guidance, including a scheduled walkthrough phone call to make sure you can navigate the software with ease. Since it was specifically designed to be easy — you'll be a pro in no time.
What if I want to cancel?
We have a 30 day notice period for cancellation.

What are the fees?
Our core service is £159+VAT per month, covering everything listed above. The optional registered office service is an additional £12+VAT per month. Some specialist or one-off work sits outside the monthly fee — we'll always be clear up front. Note there is also a £50 online filing fee charged by Companies House for your annual Confirmation Statement, paid by your company.
